DIY Banana Skin Compost Tea To Make Your Plants Thrive!
Forget fancy fertilisers, this is everything you need to make a compost tea your plants will love!
Plants require three key nutrients to grow: nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
The potassium, as well as other nutrients like calcium and magnesium makes your old banana peel an amazing fertiliser.
Additionally, I love that part of a well-loved fruit that is usually ignored is given a moment to shine!
How to make banana peel compost tea:
Add one or two banana peels to a large jar of water and
Leave it to mix for 1 to 2 weeks.
Remove the banana peels and dilute the tea across a few containers, adding extra water.
Use this to water your plants once a week, or when you think they need a boost. BONUS you can even re-use the same banana peels a few times and make a few batches of compost tea.
